Short Bio:
“Ohi Pezoume Performing Arts Company” runs UrbanDig Project since 2005.  The company each year visits different public or private spaces of the modern metropolis (buildings or open spaces) and creates site-specific performances that bring into light the hidden treasures of each site, coming from history or its current use (stories, personalities linked to the sites, important facts, role to society).  Lately UrbanDig chooses sites in need of attention or development, where its performances (sometimes with local performers) may serve as sparks for public engagement.  UrbanDig performances are usually accompanied by activities that create a creative dialogue with the local coummunity.

Title: Intensified, layered 'court' scenario for Kotzia square, Athens

Short Bio:
Friedrich Gräfling is an architect based in London and Frankfurt, operating between architecture, art and cultural diplomacy. He has designed several historical developments and has helped at the realization for prize winning, listed restorations such as "Schloss Wiesen" and the shifting/transformation of "Fachwerkhaus Krombach". Friedrich has curated in galleries across Europe, organized public exhibitions and worked with leading artists and cofounded the daily updated online archive "Indechs.org". His own work has been exhibited internationally, such as Interieur Kortrijk, Belgium, Geidai, Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan and Royal Academy of Arts in London. Lately he has finished his Diploma with Honours at the Architectural Association in London.

Short Bio:

Point Supreme Architects was founded in Rotterdam in 2007 by Konstantinos Pantazis and Marianna Rentzou and is now based in Athens. Their work integrates research, architecture, urbanism, landscape and graphic design. During 2009-2010 they were joined by Beth Hughes.

Short Bio:
Vanda Chalyvopoulou
I graduated as a visual artist from the School of Fine Arts,Athens (1988) .  I obtained my Doctorate Degree from the Facultad de Bellas Artes, Complutense University of Madrid. I have worked for 11 years as an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Architecture, University of Patras. I have organized a number of artistic-research projects, which I realised mostly in collaboration with other artists and architects and I have participated in forums and workshops. I have presented my artistic work in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and other spaces.

Andreas Kargsten
I received the Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts from Konstfackskolan, Stockholm, 1989. My work was presented in solo exhibitions as: CAID Space, Epistrofi Gallery and Kitsiki Sq., Athens. Old School of Chora, Municipality of Patmos. I participated in Group Exhibitions and Installations in Public Space: "Design 2011", Pinakothiki of Athens. Short Bio:
Anna Kaouri 
Anna Kaouri graduated School of Architecture at the N.T.U.A. in 2012. In 2011 she completed her lecture “Invisible cities: memory, space, identity” and in 2012 her diploma project “Discovering the invisible city_Designing the visible_Athens”. In 2010 she participated in Erasmus program, at the University of Florence. In 2007 - 2008 she participated in a research about the seismic behavior of the buildings conducted by the cooperation of N.T.U.A and the Fire Academy of Athens. In 2009-2011 she worked in an architecture office in Athens. Now she works as a free lance architect and participates in architectural competitions, seminars and exhibitions.

Katerina Giokari 
Katerina Giokari was born in Athens in 1987 and has studied Architecture at the N.T.U.A, graduating in 2012. Her diploma project “Chalkida Art School. Children department” was published at the architectural magazine “Hellenic Constructions”, in April 2013 and is also available online. In 2010 she studied at the University of Florence, as an Erasmus student, basically collecting material on her personal research project:“Squares of Florence. Dead monuments or places of life?”. After completing her studies, she worked for an architectural studio and collaborated with other architects, working mainly on architectural competitions. She often attends seminars, conferences and visits exhibitions.

Dora Gkiola 
Dora Gkiola was born in Athens in 1987. She graduated School of Architecture at the N.T.U.A. in 2012. Her diploma project has been recently published at the architectural magazine “Hellenic Construction”, entitled “The building as a route”. In 2010, she participated in the student exchange program “Erasmus” in the University ”Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture de Versailles” (ENSA-V). After her studies she worked in an architectural studio where amongst other projects she participated in designing the presentation of the studio's nomination for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2013. She now works in architectural competitions and attends lectures and seminars about Architecture.

Short Bio:

Irini – Emilia Ioannidou was born in Athens, Greece in 1984. She studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens. She is practicing and experimenting in the filend of design regarding interactive structures that apply in the private and the public space.

Eleftherios Ambatzis was born in Greece in 1983. He studied architecture at the University of Nottingham and at the Architectural Association in London. After graduating he worked for the practices of Norman Foster, Paul Davis, and BrisacGonzalez architects. In 2010 he moved from London to Athens where he founded his own design practice (eleftherios-art). While practicing architecture, Eleftherios has focused on the design of sculptures, furniture and drawings, in the form of unique or limited edition pieces. Projects of his, have been exhibited in London, Athens, Porto and Tokyo and published in several Greek and international magazines and newspapers. He has presented his work at several conferences including TEDx Athens, Unconference and Greece2.0

Petros Stoumpos, born in Athens in 1976.
Architect, graduated in 2006 from University “Mediterranea  degli Studi di Reggio Calabria“ dept. of Architecture. During his studies, he had the opportunity to get familiar with Architecture’s Technical Studies, Surveying Methods and Historical Analysis of the Mediterranean City. His interest focuses on exploring the multiple meanings of the city. He is involved in a regular basis with architectural studies, architectural bids and restoration of historical buildings.

Short Bio:
Christina Matika was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1986. She has received a Post-Master at ENSA Paris La Villette DSA, 2012 (Diplôme de Spécialisation et d’Approfondissement en Architecture et Projet Urbain: Projet Urbain, Paysage, Métropolisation, option «Projet Urbain et Métropolisation»), after graduating from Volos, as a Dipl. Architect at University of Thessaly, School of Architecture, 2010. She has practiced both at Thessaloniki Organization for Urban Planning and Environmental Protection, summer 2007, and at URENIO (Research Unit of Urban and Regional Innovation), summer 2011. Her research programs include participation during 2008-2009 at URENIO projects: 1. Open Platform of Digital Cities, 2. Intelligent Thessaloniki, while taking part in various competitions.

Paravoliasis Manos, born in Athens, Greece in 1981. He graduated as a Dipl. Architect at University of Thessaly, School of Architecture, 2010. Works as Architect at his own Architectural Office in Piraeus (since 2011), while having practiced during summer 2004, at the office of Professor F.Margariti in Athens, with subjects dealing with urban and residential projects. Apart from his work, he has taken part in various competitions and researches, and currently is a main Researcher in the research “Hotels and Touristic Installations in Greece from 1950 to 1975”, Research Committee of University of Thessaly- Greek Ministry of Culture, code 4393, 01/05/2011-31/12/2013, under Professor Vassilis Colonas.

Short Bio:
Stella Papazoglou was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1985.  She studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed her Masters in Urban Design at the Bartlett, UCL. Since 2012 she is working as an Architectural Supervisor at the Interbalkan Medical Centre of Thessaloniki and also as a freelancer, dealing with several aspects of architecture, such as architectural competitions, stage design and furniture design. She is a member of WHYNOT::, an activist, collaborative team which promotes creative thinking and performs various actions, in terms of an alternative urbanism, in the city of Thessaloniki, aiming to use the city’s public space in a productive way.

Louisa Varelidi was born in Athens in 1985. She is an Architect/Urban Designer who has worked both in Athens and London. She holds  a Diploma of Architecture and Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece and a Masters Degree in Urban Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Louisa is particularly interested in the intersection of DIY architecture and alternative methods of regeneration, as well as anti-gentrification and community-based urban design strategies. She is currently based in London, working on  mix-use housing developments, urban schemes and international design competitions. Her academic and professional work has been awarded and published in many architectural platforms.

Short Bio:
Nanchen Jiang graduated from MArch Urban Design of Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. His course project at that time involved dealing with the neighbourhood of Psiri and KM, which is quite adjacent to this project’s Town Hall, sharing nearly the same circumstances. Hiw proposal for the project was an allegory and a modern interpretation of the Greek myth, aiming for the reestablishment of the light industrial working-class community by gradually introducing the whole industry of olive trees.

Short Bio:
My name is Anh Dung Ta. (tadung@live.com). I have a special interest in Architecture. After obtaining my Bachelor degree in Vietnam, I decided to take a step further by joining a master program in Newcastle University. During my studies, I have acquired a foundation of knowledge in fundamental principles that govern modern architecture and integrate knowledge about sustainable tendency in particular. I was awarded a third prize in a national architectural contest for designing against flood as well as recognized as one of the 24 talented Vietnamese young architects to join in an international workshop established by Professor Von Gerkan, Marg, gmp foundation and the academy architectural culture (aac) in Germany.

Name(s): Aristotelis Dimitrakopoulos - Aristotheke Eutectonics

Short Bio:
Aristotelis Dimitrakopoulos received his Architect – Engineer Professional Diploma from the NTUA in 1998 and his Master of Architecture from the Yale University School of Architecture in 2000. In 2003 he was admitted as a Doctorate Candidate at the NTUA Sector of Design and Technology winning a scholarship from the National Scholarship Foundation. His research interests were directed towards workplace typologies and topologies, ranging from the office landscape to the urban problematic of contemporary corpo-cities, and the immense transformatios of work patterns and professional ethics, examined through the perspectives of digital neo-nomadism and communications patterns.  He has taught studios at the University of Patras and the Savannah College of Art & Design and has served as an Associate Professor at Frederich University contributing to the founding of an accredited Architecture School.
